We have been offering beginner DSLR classes for around 8 years now in our Saskatoon photography studio, and for the last 3 years at our north end studio location. Teaching is something that I’ve been passionate about since I was 19 when I taught English in Mexico. Seeing my two passions come together, photography and teaching, fills my cup immensely. We have ordered everything for our set, but they haven’t arrived yet, so instead of showing you what the full set will look like, here is my inspiration photo instead. To give you a bit of an idea, we are making a huge 5 foot wreath on our simple white backdrop. The wreath will be mainly green with some pops of red and white. We are very excited to be doing something a bit differently this year!

FAQ
What do we wear?
-We suggest wearing festive clothing. (However, no big logos or busy patterns! Plain always looks best) Feel free to dress up in your pretty Christmas outfits or come in your Christmas PJ’s. It’s up to you! (As long as it matches Red and green, as our set has just the right amount of pops of red!)
Is the session fee just $60? What does that include?
-Our session fee for the mini’s is just $60 and that includes your 15 minute session. Digital files and add on's like Christmas cards are additional.
When do I place my order for my preferred package?
-We ask that you please choose which package you would like at the time of booking your session.
What type of payment do you accept?
-We accept Cash, cheque, email money transfers, Visa & Mastercard, Amex.
What do you require to hold our day/time?
-We require the full amount of your session and package as your non refundable retainer. If something comes up and you aren’t able to make it, your package is transferable to another family.
Can the parents be in the images too? Or is this just limited to children?
-The whole family is welcome! Depending on the ages of the kids, we suggest the sessions for families of 6 or less due to the size of the set.
Someone in my family is in a wheelchair. Is your studio wheelchair accessible?
-Sorry, our studio is upstairs without elevator access.

Sessions at Emma Lake are so much fun. I love having a job that I look forward to even when I’m on holidays. I love to photograph sessions on the beach, whether they beaches of Maui or the beaches at Emma Lake here in Saskatchewan. We plan on being at Emma Lake this summer a little bit, so if you would like a session up North with no travel fee’s, please get in touch! We would love to photograph your family up at the place your family makes their memories. Very limited session times available.
It was so wonderful seeing this little family again. I photographed mom and dads wedding a while back and they have since moved to Regina, Saskatchewan. They booked in a session when they were in town for their little mans first birthday and I was delighted to meet him! Just the sweetest little guy.

I’m always so thankful to each and every person who has graced our lens. I first met this beauty years ago when her mom signed her up for our princess sessions when she was seven. I was shooting in my home studio. Fast forward to the end of 2018, and her mom signed her up for our short and sweet sessions (just for the kids). She’s blossomed into this sweet, very photogenic, pre-teen. She comes across as shy at first, but she really shines in front of the camera. A little sparkle lights up in her eyes, and she could be photographed all day. Thanks so much for seeing us the short time you were in Saskatoon!! It’s always a pleasure to see you on your travels to our beautiful city!!!
If you’ve been following us for a while, you might recognize this adorable family… well it’s the first time I’ve met their sweet children, but I photographed mom and dad’s wedding years ago. They live in Edmonton, but were in town over the holidays, so they came to our north end Saskatoon studio for some updated family portraits. Don’t you love the colors mom chose for clothing for the session? It’s always heartwarming to see our clients come back with little ones. This family is no exception:).
